NCE20TD60BT
600 V / 20 A NCE Power Trench FS IGBT, 1.7 V VCE(sat), TO-247 for PFC, supplies, UPS and small inverters.
The NCE20TD60BT is a 600 V / 20 A NCE Power IGBT in the TO-247 package, built on a Trench Field-Stop structure with a typical saturation voltage of 1.7 V at a 15 V gate drive and a 5 microsecond short-circuit withstand. An IGBT combines a MOSFET-like voltage-driven gate with the low on-state voltage of a bipolar transistor, so it is easy to drive yet conducts efficiently at high current, which is why it remains the default switch for medium-frequency, high-power conversion. The 600 V class suits converters fed from a rectified 220 to 240 V line, and the 20 A rating fits power-factor correction, switch-mode supplies, UPS, induction heating and motor-drive inverters that switch in the 1 to 60 kHz range. The Trench Field-Stop structure balances conduction and switching loss and provides a rugged short-circuit capability for the transients of real equipment. Every device is factory-traceable and ships with import declaration, certificate of origin and RoHS documentation. Designers should confirm the gate drive, dead time and the 20 A thermal path before layout sign-off. BeiLuo holds this device in stock and our FAE team supports gate drive, layout and thermal validation.
FAE Professional Review
The NCE20TD60BT is a solid 600 V IGBT for PFC, supplies and small inverters. The 1.7 V saturation voltage keeps conduction loss small at 20 A, and the 5 microsecond short-circuit withstand gives margin for the transients of real loads. The TO-247 body makes heatsinking straightforward.

Frequently Asked Questions
What projects suit the NCE20TD60BT?
It fits 600 V converters at moderate frequency where conduction loss dominates, such as power-factor correction, switch-mode supplies, UPS and motor-drive inverters. The 1.7 V saturation voltage keeps conduction loss small at 20 A.
For a compact surface-mount design, the NCE15TD60BD is an alternative.
How do I drive the IGBT?
An IGBT has a MOS gate, so it is driven with a gate voltage like a MOSFET, but the gate resistor and dead time must be set for the switching speed. Keep the gate loop short and verify turn-off overshoot at the device terminals.
Read the IGBT and MOSFET selection guide.
Is the device genuine and in stock?
BeiLuo supplies factory-traceable NCE20TD60BT devices through NCE Power's authorized channel, with import declaration, certificate of origin and RoHS files on every order. Stock is normally available.
